Today I made a mandarine orange cheesecake with my friend Phil. Tomorrow I shall eat it in celebration of my other friend, BoHee’s birthday!~ My mom every year (until I went to college) made me a mandarine orange cake for my birthday. When BoHee came to the States she went with me to the grocery store and bought 30 tangerines because she loves them so much. So I decided to make a(n Italian) cheesecake (since she loves cheesecake too but I don’t like cream cheese cheesecakes) and steal part of my mom’s mandarine orange cake recipe and alter it a bit to make a kind of hybrid. I think it turned out well. We’ll see tomorrow. :D
